The World of Women Galaxies NFTs that were dropped to three lucky Mystery Box owners.

This is World of Women and here’s why they’re amazing

Didn’t get the memo? Don’t worry, we’ll bring you up to speed. Last year, Yam Karkai noticed a need for more female representation in the male-dominated NFT space and decided to launch World of Women (WoW) — a collection of 10,000 diverse female NFT avatars, which are now considered true blue-chip NFTs.

They were assembled by an algorithm that pooled assets from a set of 200 designs that Karkai created by hand, including 27 different outfits, seven lip colors and 14 skin tones. The code minted a total of 10,000 unique World of Women NFT portraits. Celebrities such as Reece Witherspoon are even getting on board with Karkai’s NFTs. No wonder, they‘re both amazing to look at and pack a powerful message.

Another arena that needs more female representation is online gaming

At Wasder we aim to change the narrative that gaming is “just for the guys.” In fact, we have always supported women in gaming, and are committed to creating a platform and a workplace that welcomes women. Wasder is on a mission to spread awareness to remove the stigma of what a typical “gamer” looks like. So when we got the chance to purchase three World of Women Galaxies NFT’s and drop them to random Mystery Box holders we didn’t need to think twice.

“From data we can see that almost 50% of all gamers today are women, but when looking at the way gamers are portrayed and the products that are being built, the industry needs to step up to include women as a clear target audience and user. Therefore, it’s more important than ever to create a community and a company that empowers/represents inclusivity for women all over the world and that’s what we’re trying to promote at Wasder with this campaign”.
