We’ll change the way you look at matchmaking — starting with voice.
Today we launched Wasder voice. Our much anticipated voice chat and first strategic building block for a future where it’s easy and fun to find others to play with.

Great, because we’re thrilled to announce that we have launched Wasder voice. The immediate benefit of having voice chat on Wasder is that our users will be able to stay on the platform during their play sessions with their friends. But there’s more to the launch of our brand new voice chat, it’s also an important building block for the near future.
So what’s next then?
If you’ve been following us for a while you probably know that we’re on a mission to make it easier for people to find others to play with as part of our offering. And now we have an entire new way of looking at matchmaking in the works. We call it ‘Squads’. Given how important voice communication is for a lot of players when playing together, Wasder voice will be a crucial building block for Squads, and beyond.

Within this project we’re also exploring exciting new ways of making player to player interaction more engaging and fun. Voice plays a part in this exploration as well, and there are many promising ideas on the table that we will reveal for you in the near future.

As always we encourage everyone to voice their opinions. We’re looking forward to get feedback from our community in order to take voice chat to the next level together.
Sounds good, so how does it work?
Wasder voice can be accessed from any party chat that you have joined or created on Wasder. From there you can toggle your mic on and off and access the voice chat settings.
This is the first iteration of our voice chat and more functionality will be added as we level it up together with our community.
